Dear Reader,

I have to admit, I’ve thought about starting a blog before. Whenever I get an idea to start one, I manage to talk myself out of it.

“There are tons of blogs out there,” I tell myself, “Plus you’re so scattered. There won’t be any kind of point or continuity. You don’t know what you’re doing. Just find something else to do.”

That’s probably true, but there’s nothing wrong with being scattered. Finding a point or some sort of continuity here is going to be hard at times. Also, I have no problem admitting I don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to Word Press. For example, the theme I chose seems to be a business website theme. Whoops. There are a lot of reasons to not do this or postpone it; but, in the immortal words of the Wicked Witch of the West, it’s time to trust my instincts, close my eyes and leap.

I want a place to put my thoughts, feelings, stories, and funny experiences. As you either already know or will come to find out, my life is crazy. It hasn’t been normal, but in my house we thrive on being abnormal. There is something about me that just seems to attract odd people and strange experiences. I often think I need to write these experiences down somewhere. Welcome to “somewhere.”

Another aspect of my life I want to record and share is my faith journey. I have been a nominal Christian my entire life and have started walking with God more recently. I want to get better about sharing my faith. This might be a good place to do that!

I have a lot of ideas bouncing around my head right now and I can’t wait to share them with you. Feel free to comment or message me anytime!
